About The Author
Kevin Julian, also known by his friends as “KJ,” writes his debut novel, Death on the Douro, bringing his longtime love of classic murder mysteries to life. Kevin is a retired business lawyer whose extensive legal experience sharpened his analytical thinking and scrupulous attention to detail. His love in history and classic narrative is stoked by his master’s degrees in law from Downing College, Cambridge, and Classical Studies from the Open University.
These days, Kevin travels the world discovering its delights, stopping frequently to see relatives in Singapore. He also enjoys solving crossword puzzles and playing golf on the local golf courses around Peterborough. This ardent mystery lover offers readers a timeless, astute, and deftly crafted story by drawing on years of experience reading and watching murder mysteries. Kevin is currently thinking about writing a sequel because he feels that Mary Mead deserves another mystery to unravel.
