Kevin Julian, known to many of his friends as “KJ,” is a mystery writer and thriller author who channels his passion for suspense into his debut novel, Death on the Douro. Before turning to fiction, Kevin enjoyed a successful career as a business lawyer, where his attention to detail and analytical thinking were finely honed, skills that now enrich his storytelling.
With Master’s degrees in Law from Downing College, Cambridge, and Classical Studies from the Open University, Kevin weaves historical depth and classic narrative style into his work. His murder mystery novel combines these influences with his love of complex characters and suspenseful plots.
Kevin’s life outside of writing is full of adventure and curiosity. He travels widely, often visiting family in Singapore, and enjoys sharpening his mind with crossword puzzles and relaxing on local golf courses in Peterborough.
